What types of bridges does Struktis deliver?

We design, manufacture and install vehicle bridges, pedestrian bridges, boardwalks and lookouts/skywalks across Australia—covering new builds, replacements and span upgrades for councils, parks, farms, forestry and industry.

How does Struktis build bridges faster than traditional methods?

Our modular bridge approach moves most work off-site: we pre-engineer and manufacture modules in-house, then crane them into place for rapid assembly. This shortens lead times, cuts on-site hours and reduces closures and environmental disturbance.

Which standards and load ratings do you design bridges to?

Vehicle bridges are engineered to the AS 5100 Bridge Design series and relevant heavy-vehicle load models, including compliant barrier performance. For pedestrian bridges, boardwalks and lookouts we apply the relevant Australian codes and accessibility/slip-resistance requirements.

What bridge materials and foundation systems do you offer?

Superstructure options include steel girders with composite or precast decks, full-precast solutions, and engineered timber/FRP where lifecycle or environment calls for it. Foundations are selected to suit geotech and hydraulics—screw piles, driven piles, bored piers or reinforced abutments—balancing speed, durability and impact.

Can you replace ageing culverts or timber bridges with minimal downtime?

Yes. We stage works, set up temporary bypass access where needed, and install prefabricated spans quickly to keep traffic and operations moving. Where feasible, we reuse sound abutments to save cost and time.
